Network marketers have the best of two worlds


Network marketing experts tend to agree that their business model is part of the direct sales concept. In both network marketing and direct sales, products and/or services are offered directly to the consumer. There are, however, differences in the benefits and the sales approaches.

In direct sales, the distributors focus on being independent retailers. This means the company pays them more when retail sales are made—the commission earned is highest for the person who makes the most retail sales.
