New Year’s Resolutions for Business

Too often the task of promoting our business slips to the bottom of the to-do list in the press of urgent tasks. Now is the time to plan how to make 2016 a bigger and better year. Take stock of what worked this past year and what did not. This will help you set new directions or adjust previous goals. If this is not something you do regularly, start a new habit by putting into your schedule, time each week to review, adjust and look forward. Not only will this help you avoid mistakes and stay on track, but you'll feel more focused and relaxed.

If you want to attract new customers, you have to make promotion a priority. Make a New Year's resolution to take the time to promote your business and follow through. Here are a few suggestions for resolutions to get you started:

  • Every day for 365 days a year, ask for a referral and offer or give a referral. This practice will keep you on your toes. You will have to get into someone else's world to have this work. You will become aware of what is happening around you. You will start to notice when a person has something missing that you might be able to provide. In other words, you will see a need and offer the solution via the LifePharm products and/or opportunity.
  • Consciously build collaborative relationships. Which downline member could use support? Who needs help hosting a meeting? Building a collaborative relationship is not one-sided. It's about creating mutual respect and consideration. For example, realtors, mortgage lenders and title companies work together to take care of their clients, providing complete service even though they each do a different job. Why not build collaborative relationships with the healthcare practitioners you know? You have the same goal they do: to help people feel better. Remember to inform prospects and health practitioners alike that Laminine is in the PDR.
  • Ask your customers/downline to write an endorsement for the products. Show them how to use these endorsements to attract prospects. Send these endorsements in to Endorsements@LifePharmGlobal.com. We update our endorsements on the LifePharm corporate website regularly. Take your prospects through the many endorsements—found under each product—so they can see how effective Laminine, OMEGA+++, DIGESTIVE+++ and IMMUNE+++ can be for people all over the world.
  • Show gratitude to the customers you currently have. Building customer loyalty is a solid business practice. It is all in the follow-up. There are many ways to stay in touch with your customers, but with the Pro Virtual Office, you can see who has ordered, when they ordered and if they haven’t ordered, remind them or help them to get on Auto-Delivery.
  • Join a new business organization or networking group. There's nothing like talking to other business people for sparking new ideas, refining old ones, and making contacts. Whether it's a group specifically designed for network marketers or an organization dedicated to a particular type of business, in person or online, making the effort to be a part of a group will revitalize you and your business.
  • Drop what's not working for you and move on. If a technique or a business relationship isn't working for you, learn to move on. Don’t obsess or let it overtake your thoughts.
  • Find a cause that matters to you, and give what you can. Make this the year that you serve as a mentor, volunteer, or regular donor to the groups in your community that try to make the place you live a better place. Your good will is bound to bring you more in return. Those who give, receive back.
