Simplify for successful networking

Successful network marketing depends primarily on two basic actions: consistent product sales and persistent sponsoring. When these two behaviors are repeated over time, success is the result. There is no question that you will succeed, as long as you don’t give up.

The truth of the matter is that the majority of IBOs are great product consumers. Many are great product salespeople. Some are good enrollers. The LifePharm sales leaders are the ones who do both. Not everyone is a born salesperson and being a dedicated recruiter is not an innate skill. Keeping it simple, however, can produce results for just about anyone, as long as you keep at it.

There are four basic steps in the network marketing recruiting/sponsoring cycle. Stay with these simple steps, don’t overcomplicate or overthink it, and repeat over and over again. The more you practice, the more skillful and natural you will become at both selling product and sponsoring. Never let a “no” get in the way; simply move on to the next prospect.

  1. Find out what the prospect is interested in or needs. Ask questions or make a statement that will raise the level of curiosity. In other words, get the prospect’s attention, whether it’s about the benefits of one or more of the LifePharm Products or the possibility to generate income. Make sure you get the contact information and if this is a cold market prospect, reach out within 24-48 hours. If the candidate is a warm market prospect, extend an invitation to a meeting or an informal get-together with only you.
  2. Send information or invite cold market prospects to a meeting. With the LifePharm Connect App, this is easier than ever. There is a wealth of product information (brochures, videos, articles, endorsements, etc.) in the Resource Library of the Virtual Office. Don’t overlook this important source of information compiled specifically for LifePharm IBOs.
  3. Step three involves giving your short presentation about LifePharm—the products, and if you believe there is potential for business-building, the income opportunity. If the presentation cannot be given in person, use social media, Skype, webinars or use the Resource Library in your Virtual Office to send relevant information.
  4. Ask for the sale or the signup. This last step is where there less experienced IBOs may experience a hiccup. Some may find it difficult to ask for money, but that’s what doing business involves. It may be even harder for some IBOs to ask friends and relatives, which is why the cold market is often a better source of enrollees and customers. Since friends and relatives are finite and the cold market is infinite, it’s a smart move to include the cold market from the beginning of your LifePharm business enterprise and not wait until your warm market is depleted.

Now that you have simplified your sales and recruiting efforts into four basic steps, you need to file each prospect into one of three categories:

  1. Ready to start as a new IBO. This is the ideal prospect to enroll immediately. Remember to explain about the benefits of Auto-Delivery and the AD Advantage Program.
  2. Not interested. Superficially, this prospect is a “no” but a “no” may one day turn into a “yes,” depending on changing circumstances, so file this away in your follow-up list for three months later.
  3. Need more information. This is a follow-up but within days or a week. Schedule a meeting or even a three-way call where an experienced LifePharm sales leader is available to answer any questions.

The most important thing to remember in building a LifePharm business is simply to repeat the right behaviors over and over again. Consistency is key. Even when you may feel disheartened, keep going. It’s the basic nature of sales in any industry: you will collect more disinterest than interest, but all you need is one person who thinks the way you do and wants to help people live better—that may be a new productive leg in your LifePharm Business!

Duplication may be a slow process, or it can be fast and then plateau. Much depends on your personal commitment, energy levels and momentum. No matter what your pace is, as long as you continue your efforts, success will be yours! Remember, network marketing is a marathon, not a sprint.
