Hold Yourself Accountable to Achieve Your Personal Best

You start each new day with the best of intentions. Maybe you set a goal to enroll one new team member today, or send a prospect a product video from your LifePharm Connect app. Whatever your intention is, sometimes you fall short and you’re not quite sure how you got off track.

Failing to achieve your intentions happens because of two basic elements: the first is not knowing your "why"—your purpose within your mission. Without knowing why you want something, you have no clear direction or goals to work toward. Find out your “why” by managing your energy. Accept opportunities and invitations that play to your strengths, passions and life purpose.

The second element is losing your passion or motivation. Both can fade over time. It’s natural to second-guess your goals—or your ability to achieve them. Maybe you’ve already reached Silver or Gold rank and that next level seems out of reach. Maybe you feel bored and need some inspiration to get your drive back to succeed.

One of the key differences between success and failure is simply your level of action. You may think sending just an email a day, or posting on your LifePharm Facebook page isn’t making a difference. But taking any sort of action is better than doing nothing. Here are three ways to improve upon your LifePharm Business goals.

  1. Track your progress
Documenting your daily tasks not only allows you to reflect on your commitment and performance, but keeps you conscious and accountable of how far you’ve come and how close you are to reaching the milestone of your next goal. That’s why LifePharm created a personal tracker in your Virtual Office for the Fast Track to Premier promotion. Using the premise of tracking and measuring your progress helps you visualize the headway you’ve made and keeps you motivated to keep going.

  2. Invest in you
The biggest commitment you can invest in is yourself. As in Independent Business Owner, you are responsible for your income. To build up your business utilize all the tools available to you in your LifePharm Resource Library, Connection eNewsletters, product videos and marketing materials. Anything that makes you feel confident and knowledgeable you know how to share the LifePharm Products and Opportunity. Attend LifePharm seminars and special events to stay in-the-know on the latest promotions and special announcements, and reaffirm you are a part of something bigger than yourself and you have a support system. Chances are there’s an IBO hosting a meeting near you, a special event taking place or a promotion that could save you money and keep you eligible for bonus cash and free products.

  1. Partner for success
If you haven’t got a success buddy, someone you can check in with once each week, make finding that partner a high priority. This can be your sponsor, a member of your LifePharm team or even a family member or friend you can meet with to discuss your victories, failures, concerns and challenges. It also has the built-in accountability factor of having something to talk about—did you make that phone call? Send that product video? What was the outcome and how do you plan to move forward? Not only will you walk away feeling inspired, but you’ve helped someone else pursue their own goals.

  2. Integrity is the cornerstone of people skills. Integrity in business means transparency and truthfulness when dealing with prospects and team members. In LifePharm, it requires serving people in an uncompromising way. In other words, you are going to help people first and foremost, and whatever comes of that is secondary—it has been proven time and again that the IBOs who serve without reserve, are the most successful.
